Team A’s game is called Harvest and it is a multiplayer game for up to four players. Harvest is a combination of two distinctive genres, racing and combat. The racing aspect of the game is with the players attempting to reach an objective before any of the opposing players do so. The combat aspect of the game is with the player’s ability to attack and destroy the opposing players using various weapons. The players will control a hover vehicle, which will be able to move in one direction while shooting in a completely different direction.

Three different game modes can be played and they all centre around controlling a “light” object that spawns at different points around the level; these include “Capture the Light,” “Chase the Light” and “Hold the Light.”

In “chase the light”, players must simply touch the light to earn points, it respawns in a new position once it has been touched. In “capture the light” players pick up the light and must return it to their base to earn points. And in “hold the light” players must pick up the light and hold on to it for as long as possible. If the player is killed they drop the light so the objective is to get the light and stay alive at all costs.

There are different levels to the playing field and courses will be constructed using the level editor we created. The courses will act as a race course of sorts for the players to race to the objective. Ramps are around the levels so that players can access higher levels and get back to the ground level, bridges allow players to go underneath or over the top and blocks simply block players from moving in a particular direction. The level objects also provide decent cover against attacks from opponents and are semi transparent so if the player goes behind an object they can still see where they are.
